Do you know what your agency actually delivers?

At most advertisers the scope of work lives in last year's deck, a mail thread and an invoice. SCOPE puts it in one place: which deliverables are provided, with what planned effort per profile, and for what share of the fee. You own it, your agencies contribute, we manage and check.

Why this exists

A scope of work is written once and rarely updated. A year later the agency does work that is written down nowhere, work that is paid for sits untouched, and nobody can say which part of the fee went where.

Two lists

The advertiser works from the proposal, the agency from the last mail. Those two drift further apart every year, and nobody notices when.

Effort in one head

What a deliverable takes in strategy, creative, account or production is known by one person. If they leave, the scope leaves with them.

A fee without a split

You know what you pay per year. You do not know which part goes to which work, and so not what you could drop without losing anything.

What is in it

Deliverables, one by one

What gets delivered and how often, with the planned effort per profile type. From a campaign concept to the monthly reporting.

The share of the fee

Every deliverable carries its share of the fee. Together they add up to the amount you already pay; the difference is that you now see where it goes.

The agency proposes, you confirm

An agency can propose a deliverable, change it or drop it. Nothing in the scope changes until both sides confirm.

A version per change

Every change becomes a new version, with the previous one beside it and the differences marked. The history is written down instead of remembered.

The IKAg check

We put the scope next to what comparable work asks in the market. You get one word back: within, under or over. No number, because a number invites a negotiation about the yardstick.

Three languages

Dutch, French and English. The screens, the mails and the export you put on the table.

How it runs

  1. We set up your agencies IKAg creates the relationships and invites the contacts. Nothing to install, no password.
  2. The agency fills in what it delivers From a template per agency type, or from scratch. You see every line as it arrives.
  3. You confirm together A scope only counts once the advertiser and the agency have both confirmed it. Until then it is a proposal.
  4. Once a year you review it SCOPE schedules that review itself and reminds you. Whatever no longer holds becomes a new version.

Three sides

Who it is for

For the advertiser

You own the document and you pay the bill. In one screen you see what each agency delivers and for what share of the fee.

For the agency

Taking part is free. It gets you a scope that matches reality, and a place to flag work that was added without anyone writing it down.

For IKAg

We run the environment, keep the templates up to date and check the scope. We do not put ourselves between you.

What it does not do

Worth knowing up front, it saves a wrong expectation.

The check runs on PAR, our own unit for the size of agency work. How it works is explained on the PAR page.

Access goes through us

SCOPE is not self-service. We set up the advertiser and its agencies, so that a fee split is never visible to someone it does not concern. Want to use it? Let us know.
